Does Feedio have digests?

Yes, Feedio does have digests. The aim of the digests feature is to prevent user's from sending too many emails to subscribers. This is particularly useful for users which publish more than one article a day.

How do Feedio's digests work?

By default Feedio sends an email for each post published by a user. In order to change the frequency of emails being sent to email subscribers, the user will need to change their "default digest frequency" from instant to daily, weekly or monthly. This setting can be found in the email settings page in your Feedio admin. Once this option is changed any new email subscribers who join will receive a digest email according to the frequency set by the user.

IMPORTANT: If you already have email subscribers receiving your emails and you'd like to change the frequency of the emails being sent to these subscribers then please let us know via email so we can change their receiving frequency for you.

Which of my posts will appear in the digest?

Feedio's digests currently show up to 10 articles per email. The most recent post is shown as the main post in the email with up to 9 additional posts also shown in the email. Our logic is based on LIFO (last in, first out), this means that if you've published 20 articles since the subscriber has received their last weekly digest, the email sent to the subscriber will contain the latest 10 articles published.

Can I customize the look and feel of my digest emails?

Currently only the subject, sender name and sender email of your new post emails can be customized. We are working on a template feature which will provide you with advanced customization options including changing the entire HTML of the digest emails.

If you have any questions on our digests please email us at support@feedio.co and we'll get back to you ASAP.
